German Intel Chief: More Al Qaeda Danger
from Northern Africa
"We might soon not be able to prevent every single attack anymore", warned Germanys spy chief, Ernst Uhlau, in an interview with Der SPIEGEL. The fight against terror by islamists is "becoming more globalized". Presently, intelligence agencies are sharing information worldwide. BND, the Federal Agency in Germany, working out of Pullach, Bavaria, is one of them. But do all politicians understand what's at stake? It doesn't seem like that. In Germany, for example, there is a large ongoing discussion about a withdrawal of troups from Afghanistan. And in many places, more fears of the intelligence agencies are created, than there is concern about terrorist attacks.
