Ocean Planets

Many scientists believe, that countless planets in orbits far from their "sun" could consist of rocky material and water. If their masses exceed about ten times the mass of the earth, they are able to attract hydrogen and helium and will likely become gas giants. Otherwise, according to Alain Léger at the French University Paris-Sud, they could become "ocean planets", with a certain likelyhood of life, developing over time.
