"Powder For The People": China Creates
Artificial Snowfall in Tibet
For the first time, Chinese scientists have created less than half of an inch of new snow, using facilities of a meteorological station in Northern Tibet. Yu Zhongshui, an engineer at the station, was quoted as saying: "This shows, that, with human efforts, it is possible to change the weather. It can help prevent drought, sandstorms and general chaos."
