Details of a Sensation?
Human Embryos Created from Skin Cells
It looks like the contents of a science fiction movie: Experts of Stemagen Corp. in California created, for the first time ever, living human embryos from some of the company chief executive's and an anonymous investor's skin cells. They were transferred into an eggcell, out of which the original contents had been removed first. Samuel H. Wood to reporters: "I have to admit though, it's really a very strange feeling!"
