Curious What Moviegoers Crave to Watch? Answer: Brain Scanning!
Not just a lot of fun - billions of entertainment dollars are at stake! In the mad rush to attract as many people as possible to Hollywood products, U.S. film companies are now hiring neuroscientists, in order to find out, literally, what makes consumers' brains tick, when they watch. They hope to create a revolution for filmmakers and make a whole additional pile of cash in the process. Scientists at the New York University freely admit, that they have used this strategy already for several years. The method: Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
