eBay Changes Fee Structure,
Courts "Power Sellers"
Fees to merely list items will fall by 25-50%. Items sold will cost some more. The changes are a reaction to the fact that more competitors, like amazon.com, are now offering auctions successfully, and eBay's shopping activity has, in turn, slowed down considerably. Particularly important are new defenses against fraud for sellers of big ticket items, as well as special breaks for very active sellers of fixed-price items.
