Chrysler USA to Offer Wireless "Internet On
Wheels", in Car Models from 2009
For the purpose of safety, only passengers, but not drivers in new Chryler car models are supposed to be able to surf the Internet, as long as the car is moving. But, how reliably will the "mobile hotspot UConnect Web" work? What kind of an initial financial investment is going to be necessary, in order to make the service attractive enough for people to buy a Chrysler model? Chrysler sales are, after all, down almost 20%, compared with 2007.
